Mission Statement
The mission of the Pikes Peak Region Long Term Recovery Group (“LTRG”) is to provide recovery services to individuals and families affected by the Waldo Canyon Fire in the Pikes Peak Region. In accordance with this mission, the LTRG provides long-term aid and resources in the following categories: case management and unmet needs, emotional and spiritual care, housing, material donation coordination and construction and clean-up.
Who We Are
The LTRG is made up of approximately forty organizations – not-for-profits, faith communities and government liaisons – that have experience working with individuals and families to meet critical needs. The LTRG is also able to draw on the experience of national organizations active in disaster and disaster recovery to ensure resources are used in an efficient and effective manner in this circumstance. Systems of accountability are essential to the operation of the LTRG, as it stewards community donations to fill the gaps in the lives of our neighbors.
What We Do
The LTRG actively seeks out those in need, and – utilizing tools and methods that are proven to be effective in disaster relief situations – assesses need, provides support, and works with individuals and families to chart a path to recovery and wellness.

LTRG Hosts Free Workshop For Caregivers on Valentine’s Day 
The Compassion Fatigue Prevention & Resiliency Worshop presented by Presbyterian Disaster Assistance was a tremendous success! Thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to the outstanding presentation!

California Pizza Kitchen FUNdraiser
The California Pizza Kitchen fundraiser has now concluded. The Pikes Peak Region LTRG would like to thank those who participated, especially the California Pizza Kitchen who kindly donated a portion of their profits towards the survivors of the Waldo Canyon fire. On Oct. 23rd and Nov. 23rd, 20% of orders made by those who presented flyers to the restaurant, were donated. Thanks again for your generosity!
